Mike has focused his 35-year career on revenue generation including sponsorship strategies, marketing, and development in collegiate athletic space. Mike previously served as Executive VP at Nelligan Sports Marketing and gained experience on campus as an athletic administrator leading corporate sponsorship and development at the University of Maine and Rutgers, followed by a tenure leading revenue growth for The National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame.

Mark has over twenty years of experience in the college sports marketing industry. Donley leads the day-to-day sales organization for Van Wagner College, including all sales and support personnel at the Division’s operating business units (schools, conferences, events, etc.). Mark held senior leadership and management positions at Nelligan Sports Marketing, Inc. and Learfield prior to joining Van Wagner when the College Division launched in 2014.

Prior to joining Van Wagner in 2019, Mark was Senior Vice President at Learfield where he founded and built the Campus division, designed to build campus-wide strategic partnerships. He also served as Senior VP of the West Region and worked at Providence College for nearly two decades, starting as a graduate assistant and ultimately taking on the role of Athletic Director at the age of 29, making him the youngest Divisional AD.

Prior to joining the team, Jason was the General Manager at Blue Raider Sports Network for Learfield Sports and IMG/ISP at South Florida and Appalachian State. Jason began his career journey at Mercer University as a Graduate Assistant in the Athletic Department where he launched their marketing department. He also served as Director of Marketing at Winthrop University and Assistant Athletic Director for Marketing and Events.

Julius is responsible for partnerships and programs with the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) conference. He joined the team following half a decade with Urban Sports & Entertainment Group where he oversaw sponsorships for the Southwest Athletic Conference, Honda Battle of the bands, and the CIAA. Julius’ vast experience in sports marketing includes Director of Ticket Operations with the NBA’s Charlotte Hornets, Associate Athletic Director at the University of South Carolina, Deputy Financial Officer for the Crown Center, and Executive VP of Sales with the Carolina Cobras Arena Football Team.

Diana joined Van Wagner in 2014 and has fifteen years’ experience in the sports marketing industry. Earlier in her career, she worked at Nelligan Sports Marketing where she oversaw the marketing and fulfillment at Rutgers University and Princeton University and was instrumental in new business development. Diana also worked for the 2014 Special Olympics USA Games as Sponsor Relations Manager concentrating on fulfillment and activation

Ben currently leads the Southwest Region for Van Wagner’s collegiate division. Prior to Van Wagner he was with PAC-12 MMR where he handled corporate sponsorships for the Conference start-up’s first school, Arizona State University. In three years with the Sun Devils, the department saw three straight years of all-time revenue highs. Prior to ASU, Ben held various General Manager roles for Learfield Sports and Nelligan Sports Marketing, achieving all-time revenue highs for schools he represented. Ben’s ten years in college athletics were preceded by ten years in professional baseball where he was the General Manager of the Quad City River Bandits, Schaumburg Flyers, and Salt River Fields.

Mark oversees sponsorship programs across multiple regional partners, acting as the primary liaison between athletics, campus, and university affiliates. His experience includes securing title sponsors for conference level Championships and has led multiple programs resulting in historic sponsorship revenue levels at the University level. Prior to joining the Van Wagner team in 2017, Mark served in senior leadership positions at Oregon State, was Athletic Director at UC Santa Barbara, and worked in broadcast sales with the San Francisco 49ers and sports marketing at the University of Miami in Florida.

Steven M. Brown has over thirty years of experience in the sports, entertainment, and media industry. He recently served as Chief Revenue Officer of Engagement Labs, a data platform providing sponsorship and advertising solutions to organizations, including the NFL, TNT Sports, and DraftKings. Previously, Brown was Senior Vice President for NeuLion, a digital and streaming rights holder, leading their college division and overseeing more than 100 collegiate properties and conferences, including Ohio State, LSU, Clemson and The Big 12 Conference. NeuLion experienced unprecedented customer growth and was sold to Endeavor Streaming. During his career, Brown has been a member of several high-performance sales organizations such as IGN/News Corp and WFAN Sports Radio New York.

Prior to joining Van Wagner, Trey spent time in Minor League Baseball with the Johnson City Cardinals as the Corporate Sales Director, and East Tennessee State’s Athletic Department working in external operations. Gilreath spent time with The Net360, an advertising agency where he delivered measurable solutions to business in the southeast region of the United states. Trey is a graduate of East Tennessee State University, and resides in Piney Flats, Tennessee with his wife Rachel Gilreath.

Ellen is currently Assistant VP of Conferences. Prior to this role she was General Manager of the Colonial Athletic Association Corporate Partnerships and managed all aspects of sponsorship sales for the CAA, including the Men’s Basketball Championship. Before joining the Van Wagner team, Ellen worked with the PGA of America as PGA Championship Hospitality Coordinator, and she also served as Sales Manager at the Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina.

Before joining the Van Wagner team, Todd led the Sports Licensing Team at Nike World Headquarters, working with the NFL, MLB, NBA, and Nike’s top colleges, negotiating rights worth over $150M annually, including exclusive rights to the College Football Playoff and NCAA Final Four. Prior to Nike, he spent nearly a decade at Rutgers University as a coach and then as Chief of Staff, helping to take the football team to five-straight Bowl games. Following a success tenure as a student-athlete at William & Mary, Todd initially pursued a career in pro football before starting his own business in Florida training athletes.
