Santiago 2023 Names Van Wagner the Official Sport Presentation Producer of the Pan American and Parapan American Games February 6, 2023
[NEW YORK, NY – February 6, 2022] The Santiago 2023 Organizing Committee has named Van Wagner the exclusive Sport Presentation partner for the 2023 Pan American Games, which will be held from October 20th to November 5th, and the Parapan American Games, which will take place November 17th to 26th.
Van Wagner, a global leader in live events and video production, will be responsible for planning and producing all facets of the live, multi-day event including: detailed programming for the sporting events, medal ceremonies, development of video, graphics, and content to educate and engage spectators, entertainment and artist performances, music, audio, lighting, and more.

Together, we will elevate the Games to new levels and share the celebration with the rest of the world,” said Gianna Cunazza, Chief Executive Officer of Santiago 2023.
Santiago 2023 will involve a complex network of athletic competitions and live performances taking place over 17 days, across multiple venues. “We’ll be there to help create an electrifying atmosphere for the athletes, and memorable experiences for the millions of families and fans who travel to Chile or tune-in to watch and cheer from around the globe,” stated Paul Kalil, CEO of Van Wagner’s Production Division.
This will be Van Wagner’s third time producing The Games in the Americas after having led sport presentation for the 2019 Pan American Games in Lima and the 2021 Junior Pan American Games held in Cali Valle. Over the last 40 years, the team has produced aspects of the most-celebrated events in the world, including eleven Olympic, Paralympic and Youth Olympic Games, Pan American Games, Arab Games, NFL Super Bowl, U.S. Open Tennis, Kentucky Derby, FISU World University Games, Formula 1 Racing, and The World Games.

La firma Van Wagner tendrá a su cargo la producción audiovisual y ejecución de los elementos para informar, educar, entretener e inspirar a cada atleta y espectador de los Juegos.
El comité organizador de Santiago 2023 oficializó a la empresa Van Wagner como su proveedor exclusivo de Presentaciones Deportivas para los Juegos Panamericanos y Parapanamericanos, a celebrarse del 20 de octubre al 5 de noviembre, y del 17 al 26 de noviembre, respectivamente.
La firma estadounidense será responsable de la planificación y producción de todas las facetas del evento en vivo, el cual contempla varios días de duración incluyendo: una programación detallada de los eventos deportivos, ceremonia de entrega de medallas, creación de material audiovisual, gráficos y contenidos educativos para atraer a las y los espectadores con entretenimientos, actuaciones de artistas, música, audio, iluminación y más.

Esta es la tercera vez que la empresa Van Wagner participa de un evento en las Américas tras haber dirigido la presentación de los Juegos Panamericanos de Lima 2019 y los Panamericanos Junior Cali-Valle 2021. Durante los últimos 40 años, el equipo produjo parte de algunos de los eventos más célebres del mundo, tales como: once Juegos Olímpicos, Juegos Paralímpicos y Juegos Olímpicos de la Juventud, Juegos Panamericanos, Juegos Árabes, Super Bowl de la NFL, US Open de Tenis, Derby de Kentucky, Juegos Mundiales Universitarios FISU, Fórmula 1 y los Juegos Mundiales.
