A Brand Awareness Game Changer
The Challenge
Kumho Tire, the Official Tire of the National Basketball Association (NBA), was looking for efficient ways to build on their existing league partnership and drive even greater brand awareness and visibility to reach consumers.
The Solution
After two years, Kumho Tire expanded their partnership with the NBA and added Van Wagner’s TV-visible courtside and LED arm signage across 8 teams in strategic U.S. markets: Boston Celtics, Chicago Bulls, Dallas Mavericks, Los Angeles Clippers, Miami Heat, New Orleans Pelicans, Phoenix Suns, and San Antonio Spurs.
The Result
Courtside signage perfectly complemented Kumho’s status as the Official Tire of the NBA. Adding courtside and stanchion advertising allowed for an increased game presence in targeted markets, increasing the sponsor’s overall brand awareness throughout the league.
