Enhancing the Badger Experience: Wisconsin Athletics Teams Up with Van Wagner

University of Wisconsin Athletics is embarking on a mission to enhance its sport presentation as part of a larger initiative to elevate customer experience and deepen engagement with its legendary fanbase.
Under the leadership of Director of Athletics Chris McIntosh, the university announced a new partnership with industry leaders like Van Wagner, to bring about significant changes that promise to deepen fan engagement and raise the bar for entertainment heading into the 2023-24 athletic season
With a focus on the gameday experience, Wisconsin, in conjunction with Badger Sports Properties, selected Van Wagner to help take their in-venue experience to a whole new level. Van Wagner’s Productions team will partner with the University to develop and produce creative assets and video board content seen throughout Camp Randall Stadium. The home of Wisconsin’s football team ranks among the nation’s largest school-owned stadiums.
Wisconsin knows that football is in our blood. With decades of experience producing the last 38 Super Bowls, 15 years of NCAA Championships including College Football Playoffs, 40 Rose Bowls, and 4 Power Five Conference Championships, Van Wagner is the right partner to provide a new in-venue experience for fans and corporate partners as a new era of Badger football begins.

Wisconsin Athletics enhancing customer journey and experience: Increased investment in fan insights, in-venue experience, customer service and sales support
MADISON, Wis. – Great customer service means delivering a high-quality experience and Wisconsin Athletics is committed to doing just that. Director of Athletics Chris McIntosh has placed a priority on improving the overall customer experience with an eye toward deepening engagement and meeting the needs of UW’s legendary fanbase.
“As we look to enhance the customer experience inside and outside our venues, we have done a lot of listening and observing,” McIntosh said. “It is critical that our fans have an enjoyable, safe, and efficient experience when they engage with us. I am happy to be able to announce a few new initiatives and I am excited about continuing to develop more ways to better serve our fans.”
The latest improvements to the Wisconsin customer journey include:
REIMAGINED IN-VENUE PRODUCTION
- Wisconsin, in conjunction with Badger Sports Properties, is partnering with Van Wagner, the industry leader in sport presentation and video board production, to assist in the development and production of in-venue video board assets for Wisconsin football beginning this fall. The goal is to provide a new in-venue experience for fans and corporate partners as a new era of Badger football begins.
- Van Wagner works with high-profile leagues, teams, venues, and events, including the Super Bowl, NFL Draft, Olympics, College Football Playoff and NCAA Final Four.
- Through this partnership, UW is demonstrating a continued commitment and investment in making Camp Randall Stadium one of the best gameday environments in the country.
