Largest Deal in MAC History Unites Two New York Institutions Around a Shared Community Vision

BUFFALO, N.Y. – March 11, 2026 – Van Wagner announced today that it has brokered a 15-year, $31.75 million naming rights partnership between the University at Buffalo and Broadview Federal Credit Union — the largest in Mid-American Conference (MAC) history.

The agreement covers naming rights to UB’s football stadium, basketball arena, and a newly conceived Broadview Village – The Home of the Buffalo Bulls, a multi-use athletics hub for fans and student-athletes located at the heart of UB’s athletics facilities. Beyond the facilities, the deal funds student scholarships and UB’s student emergency fund, creating a platform for Broadview to engage the UB community and Western New York in a meaningful, ongoing way.

“Deals of this magnitude don’t happen without the right people guiding the process,” said Mark Alnutt, Vice President and Director of Athletics at the University at Buffalo. “Van Wagner’s expertise, patience, and commitment to getting this right delivered a landmark agreement that sets a new standard for the MAC and puts UB Athletics on the national map. We couldn’t be more proud of what we’ve built together.”

“We are proud to have helped bring together two organizations that share deep values and a commitment to their community,” said Mike Palisi, President of Van Wagner College. “This partnership is exactly what we strive for — generating real revenue while staying true to who each institution is.”

Central to the deal was Van Wagner’s discovery-driven process. “Broadview didn’t just want brand recognition — they wanted a true partnership and for Western New York to know who they are and what they stand for,” said Todd Greineder, Van Wagner’s Assistant VP who leads the firm’s naming rights practice. “The athletics village concept creates a true community hub where Broadview can bring this partnership to life and showcase the shared values it shares with UB.”

“Van Wagner’s creativity and ability to get this deal over the finish line should not be overlooked,” said Kyle Folts, Founder of Vantage Sports Advisors, UB’s owner’s representative. “They led with a solutions-focused approach at every turn.”

The UB-Broadview agreement adds to a growing portfolio of landmark collegiate naming rights deals for Van Wagner, including recently brokered partnerships at Georgia State University, Rutgers University, and Florida International University. The firm has facilitated more than $2.5 billion in naming rights deals since entering the space.
