Van Wagner is proud to continue its support of the Fire Department of New York (FDNY). With staff from Van Wagner Communications and members of the FDNY's EMS Command in attendance, Richard Schaps, Chairman and CEO of Van Wagner Communications and Fire Commissioner Nicholas Scoppetta unveiled new telephone kiosk posters donated by Van Wagner to celebrate EMS Week 2007. The ceremony was conducted in front of Van Wagner's corporate offices in Midtown Manhattan.

The FDNY-developed copy showcased three members of EMS who have shown a special commitment to helping New Yorkers in their time of need. The posters were displayed on hundreds of Van Wagner's kiosks throughout New York City's five boroughs.

"We are grateful of the extraordinary work EMS members do and thank them for all they've done for our city," Richard Schaps, Chairman and CEO of Van Wagner Communications said at the ceremony. "EMS Week is a wonderful occasion where we get a chance to celebrate the hard work of our 3,000 EMTs, paramedics and EMS officers," said Commissioner Scoppetta. "The three FDNY EMS members seen on these posters are some of our most dedicated, who have shown a strong commitment to helping New Yorkers in their time of need."
